Take a walk down “little Paris.” Bucharest is known for the architectural influences that remind everyone of Paris. The best place to feel the “little Paris” atmosphere in Bucharest is the Old City. Get to know where the revolution took place. In 1989 the communist era in Romania came to an end after people started a revolution against the regime. The place where the historical event happened is
now called Revolution Square. The building where Ceausescu (the dictator at the time) held his last speech is now the Interior Ministry and you can see it in Revolution Square.
Have a traditional Romanian meal. When you travel, you want to know more about the culture of the place you are visiting and food is one important aspect. You probably know how Indian food tastes, or Italian food, Chinese food, etc. Now it is time to taste the Romanian food. Choose a restaurant that serves traditional Romanian food and go for it.
